The sequel to this well-received anime was already anticipated by eager fans for two years before the people behind the production dropped the bomb last March.
Classroom of the Elite has been a huge hit with audiences, earning 7.7 out of 10 stars on IMDb and a 7.86/10 Audience Score rating on MyAnimeList. Critics have praised the show for its amazing concept and balanced plot. The animation style is praised for being both stylish and unique, with the characters being well-developed and the soundtrack being pleasant and fitting.

Studio Lerche will return to produce the third season with Hiroyuki Hashimoto with Seiji Kishi still at the helm, this time with the addition of Yoshihito Nishouji. Lerche did a great job in giving life to the previous two seasons, and the same expectations can be held.
